Jasmine's Litter - Day 6 |

Jasmine seems to want to re-discover the house now. She likes taking a short walk around to stretch her legs and have a change of environment every day. Every time Fizban sees her though, he gets excited. He's been meowing almost non-stop, I guess he's calling her because he misses her. We always knew that they really loved each other. They were so close, almost inseparable, before he discovered other uses for a part down below! If everything goes fine for the kittens, and even though Jasmine is the greatest mother(cat), I think we'll get Fizban neutered so they can be together. The kittens are growing so fast! It was less than a week ago that my mother and I(Natalie) had to help Jasmine with cutting the umbilical cords, placenta in one hand and kitten in the other. They looked so small in my hand, barely filling it! Now, I hold one in my hand and it has to curl up to fit. The only new thing today is that we've noticed that some of them have very small front teeth and the others are 'teething'. You know, we told ourselves we wouldn't name them until they were in the 9th week, in case something happens! Well, that didn't work out! My mom had a name picked out during Jasmine's pregnancy, Leylu (however it's written), for one of the darker kittens (the female). The other darker one is a male (we believe) and the most appropriate name for him is Corban, which we're growing fond of. See, Corban and Leilu were the 2 main characters in the Fifth Element movie which we all really like! I guess we only have 3 more to name and they all look like females! |
