The last kitten lost the remainder of their umbilical cord today. Jasmine seems to be more comfortable leaving the kittens by themselves while they're sleeping, taking the opportunity to walk around the house and share her experiences with the others. She went to visit Fizban, the proud papa, and let me tell you that he was quite happy to see her again... he's ready to go at it again! She didn't seem to mind his company but I don't think she's (or we're) ready to walk down that road quite yet! Beside's, we wouldn't let her even if she wanted to. All the kittens are doing great. They're gaining weight and getting darker points (tips) as the week goes by. We actually heard at least 3 purr today as they were drinking and being washed. What a nice feeling! |
